Jeevandhara Rehabilitation Research Institute

JCSEDS is one of the units of Jeevandhara Rehabilitation Research Institute that promotes activities for preparation of special education teachers and training of other rehabilitation professionals. By the recommendations of the Government of Uttar Pradesh and by the assessment of inspection teams of Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) on institute's infrastructures and expertise for the manpower development programs; RCI approved and recognized the institute on permanent basis i.e. 2019 to 2024 for running of 2 year Diploma in Special Education Course in two areas, i.e. Hearing Impairment (35 seats) and Intellectual and Developmental Disability (35 Seats). The first two batch of the students have complete their courses successfully. The institute has best internal as well as external faculty including some of them are well known national/international experts. The institute assures job placement for all students who attends both theory and practical activities regularly.

Special Education Teachers trained in this course can start a robust professional carrier in special schools, public schools, government schools and early intervention center for children with developmental and intellectual disability. The institute has another most attracting RCI recognized course i.e. Diploma in Special Education (Hearing Impairment) so that teachers trained in this course can start a confident professional carrier in any type of schools such as special schools, mainstream or inclusive schools and early intervention center for children with communication disability.
